These Terms of Service (“Terms”) outline the rules and conditions that apply when you engage Auto IQ Services for mobile automotive programming, diagnostics, and related electronic vehicle services. By using our services or visiting our website, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
Auto IQ Services is a mobile automotive programming business specializing in:
Electronic Control Unit (ECU) and Transmission Control Unit (TCU) programming
Key cutting and programming for domestic and foreign vehicles
Module flashing and cloning
Diagnostic scans and troubleshooting
Immobilizer resets, mileage correction (where legal), and other electrical services
We operate primarily on-site at the customer’s location by appointment.
You must:
Be at least 18 years old or the legal owner/authorized agent of the vehicle
Have full legal authority to consent to electronic work and access the vehicle
Services can be scheduled through phone, email, or our website.
Accurate vehicle information (make, model, year, VIN) must be provided.
A diagnostic check may be required prior to full service.
We reserve the right to decline service based on vehicle condition, risk, or incompatibility.
Appointments must be canceled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance.
A cancellation fee may apply for missed or last-minute cancellations.
Payment is due at the time of service unless stated otherwise.
Accepted methods include cash, credit/debit, Zelle, or any method communicated in advance.
A service fee or deposit may be required for specific jobs or travel outside standard areas.
You are responsible for:
Ensuring safe and legal access to the vehicle at the service location
Providing full disclosure of the vehicle’s history and modifications
Having a fully charged battery and functional ignition system
Notifying us if any third-party tuning or security software is installed
We guarantee our workmanship for a period defined at the time of service.
We are not responsible for issues caused by:
Pre-existing damage or faulty components
Improper prior programming or aftermarket installations
Vehicles failing to respond due to security locks or OEM restrictions
Warranty does not cover issues unrelated to the original service performed.
Some programming tasks (e.g. immobilizer resets, module swaps) carry inherent risks. By proceeding with service, you acknowledge:
The potential impact on OEM warranties
That programming failures due to manufacturer limitations are not guaranteed work
That full backup is not always possible in all vehicle makes/models
Diagnostic data collected from your vehicle may be stored for service verification or legal purposes.
We do not share vehicle data unless required by law.
All tools, software, service procedures, documentation, and branding remain the intellectual property of Auto IQ Services. You may not copy or distribute any part of our processes without written permission.
We reserve the right to refuse or terminate service if:
A client is abusive, dishonest, or non-cooperative
The vehicle is unsafe or illegally modified
Environmental or safety hazards are present
Auto IQ Services is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including but not limited to:
Lost time, lost income, or downtime
Damage caused by unrelated vehicle issues surfacing post-service
Any legal or warranty issues arising from third-party modifications
